Payroll Analyst / HR Analyst (Mexico)
Location: Mexico | Department: Human Resources | On-site
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst / HR Analyst to support accurate, compliant payroll processing in Mexico and assist with core HR operations. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, employees, and external payroll providers to ensure timely payroll execution and statutory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Run end-to-end payroll cycles (weekly/biweekly/monthly) in Mexico
- Calculate and validate payroll components (overtime, bonuses, vacations, prima vacacional, aguinaldo, terminations)
- Ensure compliance and correct calculations for ISR, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and CFDI payroll
- Manage payroll incidences (absences, sick leave, maternity/paternity leave)
- Support onboarding/offboarding, employee records, and payroll-related employee questions
- Prepare payroll and workforce reports; support audits and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
- 2–5 years processing payroll in Mexico
- Hands-on experience with IMSS / INFONAVIT / ISR / CFDI processes (SUA/IDSE preferred)
- Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
