Software Engineer (Mid-Level) – .NET

About the Role

As a Software Engineer at One Call, you’ll own meaningful parts of our product and work closely with senior engineers to design, build, test, deploy, and support high‑quality software in production. You’ll be involved across the full development lifecycle while growing your technical influence and understanding of large‑scale systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design & Plan: Partner with senior engineers and product teams to break down features and contribute to technical designs.
• Build Software: Develop backend services, APIs, UI components, and data integrations using modern .NET frameworks and best practices.
• AI‑Led Development: Use AI tools to accelerate design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Quality & Testing: Write automated tests and ensure code meets acceptance, reliability, and performance standards.
• Operational Excellence: Add logging, metrics, and monitoring to maintain system health and observability.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Contribute to fast, automated build and release pipelines.
• Support & On‑Call: Assist with troubleshooting and defect resolution, including occasional on‑call rotations with guidance.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend or full‑stack development skills using .NET / C#.
• Experience with GitHub, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native development, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and continuous learning.
